The first in a series of animated Word Toys, Animated Verb encourages kids ages 4-7 to discover word meanings like they never have before. Through interactive play, our words come to life as the Animated Verb demonstrate word meanings with their highly animated antics. Young readers can interact with the words. They literally play with the words to make LAUGH laugh and JUMP jump.



Animated Verb provided 98 most common verbs in English, Germany, Spain and France with A-Z alphabetical order. You can spell it, learn it and play with it in each of 4 languages. Every verb is spelled and pronounced by pure and native teachers, and animated by cute and vivid animations!



Animated Verb is designed to be kid-friendly! There are no complicated menus for kids to get confused by, or multiple options to get lost in. It was tested by several toddlers and we took their suggestions seriously to create a funny but educational app for them.

Nathan Smith

Nathan Smith is Director of Technology for the College of Education and Human Services at Utah State University. In that role, he also directs The Adele & Dale Young Education Technology Center (The YETC) located in room 170 of the Education Building on Utah State University's Logan campus. The YETC is a combination student open­access computer facility, a K­12 curriculum materials library, a NASA Educator Resource Center for Utah, and a technology training center. Nathan served eight years (2004­2012) on the Board of Directors for the Utah Coalition for Education Technology (UCET) He was re­elected in 2014 to serve another two year term on the board. A former elementary school teacher, Nathan has taught students every age from young children to senior citizens. He has had the opportunity beginning in 2011 to train international high school teachers from all over the world about technology in education, through the U.S. State
