Share Your Holiday Program Using Periscope

Periscope is the latest and greatest in social media tools! It allows you to live stream video to followers. Followers are able to log in live or they can view the recorded video for up to 24 hours. Periscope describes their product: "It may sound crazy, but we wanted to build the closest thing to teleportation. While there are many ways to discover events and places, we realized there is no better way to experience a place right now than through live video. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but live video can take you someplace and show you around."

In educataion, this would be super useful for broadcasting holiday concerts for parents who might not be able to leave work to attend. In addition, it would be a great tool for sharing out class presentations, celebrations, or live demos of how to do homework.

Download the periscope app and give it a try – make sure your parents know your handle so they can find your feed!
