#UTEDCHAT QUESTIONS FOR 10/12 – Beyond the Classroom: Blended Learning

This week we have Chloe DeMars from TES Teach (@TES_teach) leading a discussion about teaching beyond the classroom with Blended Learning. This is a very interesting and potentially powerful tool for engaging students and helping them become continual learners. If you haven’t already followed Chloe via the TES Teach account on Twitter (@TES_teach) you should probably do so because it will help you to better follow the chat.

As always, please be sure to include #UTedChat in your responses so everyone participating can see your thoughts and ideas.

Q1: What does blended learning look like at your school?

Q2: What are your favorite tools for implementing blended learning? Why?

Q3: If you had no constraints, how would you ideally incorporate blended learning into your classroom?

Q4: In what ways do you see your teaching practice evolving as more tech resources become available in the classroom?

Q5: IT literacy can be a disadvantage with blended learning. What’s the biggest obstacle you face when incorporating it?

Q6: Ultimately, what do you want to get out of blended learning?

Chloe DeMars works as the Social Media Manager for TES Teach, an education platform that allows teachers to create digital lessons, projects and presentations in minutes for free. Chloe grew up in a suburb outside of Portland, Oregon, attended the University of Oregon and now resides in San Francisco.
